Our interclub is aimed at giving first level ring experience to future fighters as a step up from regular class sparring.

Adult entry fee is £15.00 on the day.

Doors open at 11:30am, children bouts begin at 12noon.

TEAM KEVLAR INTERCLUB RULES.
MMA:
MMA will take place in the ring/cage.
MMA bouts will be controlled on technique and skill.
It is compulsory competitors wear the following:
8oz MMA gloves for increased protection, gum shield, groin guard, shinguards.
Knee strikes are allowed with standing opponents.
No strikes to the head of a grounded opponent.
No knees to the head of an opponent with one knee on the ground.
No elbows on the ground.
No stomping.
No heel hooks or leg locks.
K1-KICKBOXING:
K1 will take place in the ring – K1 bouts will be controlled on technique and skill.
It is compulsory competitors wear the following:
16oz Boxing gloves, gum shield, groin guard, shinguards and advised to wear headguards (optional).
One hand clinch with a knee strike to the body and release (allowed).
Knees to body are allowed.
Catching the kicks are allowed but will be stopped if held longer than 1 second.
Sweeps are allowed.
No spinning back fists.
No head pull downs.
No knees to the head.
Bouts will be 3 x 2 Minute rounds.
BOXING:
Boxing will take place in the ring - bouts will be controlled on technique and skill.
It is compulsory competitors wear the following:
16oz Boxing gloves, gum shield, groin guard and advised to wear headguards.
Bouts will be 3 x 2 Minute rounds.

This event is created to gain experience and develop grass root level fighters from all types of combat sports backgrounds for the next level.
